On Sunday 15th September Sid has reached Dunfermline having spent the night in a homeless hostel. His feet are holding out reasonably well bar a small blister under one toe which he says will clear up. I asked if he has done a lot of walking in his time? His reply was “well, I’ve never caught a bus in my life!” He is currently on his own on the walk as Kellie has to go back to court in London on 22 October and needs to work on her defence so anyone else in the S.E Scotland area would be welcome to join him. There is to be a meeting with an MP in Edinburgh possibly on Thursday.
Sid is asking particularly if anyone can trail him with a vehicle as autumn gales are brewing… He also asks for mothers and fathers who have lost children to write their stories and send them to a PO Box he will organise – the more stories the better for the purpose of approaching Cameron when he gets to Westminster, so get writing! I will ask Sabine to construct a template to serve as a ‘cover sheet’ for the stories so that it is immediately clear under which local authority the injustice happened, which SS officers & police were involved, which judges rubber-stamped the operation, etc., or I can send you the one I have already been using which is OK to be going on with, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
I believe Sid has given us all an opportunity to unite, as so many speakers at the Children Screaming to be Heard Conference at Grantham earlier this month urged us to do. We are the spearhead pointing straight at the belly of the beast – keep that image in your minds, united we stand, forwards we go! Belinda
