PETITIONS, Empowerment Mondays and Empty Pushchair Horrors UK – 30 Sep!

Here’s what I just tried to send to all those 1,513 lovely people who signed Abolish Adoptions without Parental Consent.

First the bad news: the EU Petition Secretariat has not answered two emails asking when our petition might be tabled. Hence I wonder whether you might like to ask them or maybe your MEP? The email address is peti-secretariat@europarl.europa.eu To find your MEP in the UK, you can use www.WriteToThem.com. After having attended the UKIP conference, I shall also write to their MEPs, for they are a breath of fresh air: http://bit.ly/1ffjRWb

The best news is presumably that we have a petition before the House of Commons now, too! It appears in the official Hansard publication on http://bit.ly/1eDxugk This is a good reason for asking: Dear MP, are you on my side?

Spotlight on Abuse publishes a letter to ask your MP to support a National Investigation into the Coverups of Child Abuse.

Otherwise, Empowerment Mondays will focus on Empty Pushchair Horrors on 30 September in the UK.

All in all, the mood is hotting up and I hope that something’s gotta give sooon!
