Single parents who take their children and flee abroad cannot escape court proceedings by claiming they now live outside the UK?s jurisdiction, the Supreme Court has ruled.

    This is to protect mothers who take kids from fathers or vice versa and flee abroad.I do not see how they can do anything to a single parent who acts with her partner’s approval or indifference. You take your chances first in a foreign court and all depends on the foreign judge like it does now

  2. With money, power and influence you can get away with pretty well anything and the law will turn a blind eye.
