It’s a long time – a year in the life of a teenager – especially at the hands of all possible UK authorities helping London Borough (LB) of Sutton to keep the lad in the UK rather than let him go home… “In the Best Interest” of whom???
Here in three chapters:
- Zimbabwean Teen seeks refuge from UK Social Services in Zimbabwean Embassy
- Desmond Tutu’s Grandson in the care of the LB of Sutton
- Discussion with John Hemming
Attempts to resolve the dilemma continue. Ex-MP John Hemming of Justice for Families who has obliquely raised the case on mainstream media (see link 2) is now acting as mediator with LB Sutton.
Here is a 3-way Skype discussion filmed yesterday (20 April) between John, M and mum on how matters can be resolved at this point:
M has also sent the judge a video version of his letter to him. LB Sutton have said the issue is now between M and the judge and a video-link has been arranged for Friday’s hearing. Huntercombe Hospital Norwich have been asked to re-assess M via the videos and hopefully he will be released from his Mental Health Act Section 3 restriction, thus removing the last stumbling-block preventing him from returning to Zimbabwe.
Please everyone get down on your knees & prayer-mats, light candles and tap gongs for M to be set free tomorrow and allowed to go home!
Unfortunately, the trends are RISING for SNATCHING and for ADOPTING children against their parents’ wills, according to Governmental statistics:
Hence our petition to the EU Parliament that contributed to getting it on the agenda of a Plenary Debate on 27 April 2016:
